Terms of Service & Community Rules

Effective October 4, 2026 · Updated October 9, 2026 · We-Collided (wecollided.com)

We-Collided is a social media website. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use We-Collided.

Please read these Terms carefully. They say you use We-Collided at your own risk, they limit what We-Collided is responsible for, and section 16 requires most disputes to be settled by individual binding arbitration instead of in court or in class actions, unless you opt out within 30 days.

1. Who can use We-Collided

You must be at least 18 years old to use We-Collided. We-Collided is for adults only. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we'll remove it. We may pause any account and ask for proof of age, such as a photo of a government ID. If you don't send it by the deadline we give you, or it shows you're under 18, your account will be removed and you won't be able to make a new one until you're 18. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens on your account.

Each person may have only one account, and each phone or computer can be used to create only one account. To make a new account on a device, delete the old one first (Settings → Delete my account). Making extra or fake accounts, including to get around a ban, fake collides or climb the leaderboards, isn't allowed.

2. Stay safe

  • Never use We-Collided while driving or while riding a bike, scooter or motorcycle, or operating any vehicle or machinery. Don't read or send messages, scan or show Collide codes, check in to events, watch videos or look at maps while moving. Pull over somewhere safe first. If you're a passenger, you're responsible for not distracting the driver.
  • Games: Finds, eggs, creatures, items, power, XP and levels are just for fun: they have no cash value and can't be sold or traded for money. Keep duels friendly; our Community Rules apply.
  • Pay attention to where you are when you use the site. Don't walk into traffic, trespass, or go anywhere unsafe to collide, check in, meet someone or take a photo.
  • Meeting people in person is at your own risk. Meet in busy public places, tell someone you trust where you're going, and leave if you feel unsafe.
  • Locations, distances, "nearby" alerts, maps and event check-ins can be wrong, late or unavailable. Never rely on them for your safety or to find a person.
  • Flashing lights warning: the site uses moving and flashing animations, themes and effects. If you have epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing lights, tap Pause effects on profiles, turn effects off, or don't use the site, and talk to a doctor first. Stop using it right away if you feel dizzy, have blurred vision, twitching or any discomfort.
  • We-Collided is not an emergency service. If you or anyone is in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
  • Nothing on the site is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

3. Community Rules

You may not post, send, sell or share anything that:

  • bullies, harasses, threatens, stalks, intimidates or shames anyone;
  • contains nudity, pornography or sexually explicit material;
  • offers, requests or advertises sex, sexual services or escort services;
  • sexualizes, endangers or exploits a minor in any way;
  • promotes hate or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits;
  • promotes self-harm, terrorism or violent crime;
  • is a scam, fraud, fake account, impersonation or spam;
  • sells or promotes illegal goods or services, including drugs, weapons where prohibited, stolen property or counterfeit items;
  • shares someone else's private information or private photos without their permission;
  • infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • contains viruses or malicious code, or tries to hack, overload or disrupt the site;
  • records, screenshots or shares a video chat, call or private conversation without everyone's permission where the law requires it, or secretly records anyone;
  • uses bots, scrapers, scripts or any automated way to access, copy or collect information from the site, or makes accounts by automated means.

If you break these rules, we may remove your content, warn you, suspend you, or remove your profile and ban you permanently, at our discretion and without notice. We may also report illegal content, including any content that exploits children, to the proper authorities.

Child safety: we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes a minor. We remove it, ban the accounts involved, preserve the information as the law requires, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.

4. Reporting

You can report posts, messages, profiles and Marketplace listings with the Report (flag) buttons. Reports go to the We-Collided admin, who decides whether to take action. Reports that include messages share the recent conversation with the admin so they can review it. If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

🚫 Intimate pictures shared without consent (TAKE IT DOWN Act)

If a nude or sexual picture of you, real or AI-made, was shared on We-Collided without your consent, we'll take it down. In the app, tap Report on the post, chat, profile or listing and pick "A nude or sexual picture of me shared without my OK". If you can't use the app or aren't a member, email wecollidedsocial@gmail.com with "Take It Down" in the subject. Your request needs: your name (typed is fine, it's your signature), where the picture is (a link or a description we can find it by), a short statement that you believe in good faith it was shared without the consent of the person shown, and how to reach you. You can also make the request for someone you're allowed to act for. You don't need to send ID.

We hide the picture as soon as the request comes in and remove it, along with any identical copies we know of on We-Collided, within 48 hours. We tell the person who posted it that it was removed, but never who asked. Making a false request on purpose breaks these Terms, and people whose requests keep turning out false can lose the in-app option. Sharing someone's intimate pictures without their consent is against our rules and against the law, and gets accounts banned.

5. Your content

You own what you post, and you're solely responsible for it. By posting, you give We-Collided a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and share your content on the site so the service can work. You confirm you have the right to post everything you share. We may remove any content at any time for any reason.

6. Marketplace and meeting people

We-Collided does not sell, inspect, guarantee or deliver any items, and isn't a party to any deal between members. All Marketplace transactions, payments, shipping and meetups are strictly between buyer and seller, at your own risk. Meet in safe public places, inspect items before paying, and never send money to people you don't trust. The same applies to meeting anyone you know through the site.

You may not list or sell: weapons, ammunition or explosives; drugs, drug paraphernalia, prescription medicine or supplements making medical claims; alcohol, tobacco, vapes or nicotine products; adult or sexual products or services; live animals; stolen, counterfeit or recalled items; hazardous materials; gift cards, financial products, tickets above face value, or anything illegal where you or the buyer live. Sellers are responsible for any taxes, permits and laws that apply to their sales. We can remove any listing at any time.

7. Privacy, face effects and biometrics

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, and it's part of these Terms. The fun camera's face effects work only on your own phone or computer. We-Collided does not collect, store, sell or share biometric identifiers or biometric information (such as face geometry, face scans, fingerprints or voiceprints). Nothing about your face is sent to us unless you choose to post or send a photo, and then it's stored as an ordinary photo.

8. You use the site at your own risk

You understand that using We-Collided, meeting people you know through it, colliding, going to events, buying or selling in Marketplace, and using location features all carry risks, including the risk of injury, illness, death, property damage, theft, fraud, emotional distress or loss of data. You choose to take on all of these risks.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, you release We-Collided, its owner, and anyone who helps run it from any and all claims, demands, damages and losses of any kind, known or unknown, that come from or relate to your use of the site, other members, meetups, events, collides, Marketplace deals, content you see, or using the site while driving or doing anything else unsafe. If you live in California, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which says: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party." People in other places waive any similar law.

9. No warranties

We-Collided is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be safe, secure, error-free or always available, or that content on it is true or reliable. We don't check members' identities or backgrounds.

10. We are not responsible

To the fullest extent allowed by law, We-Collided, its owner, and anyone who helps run it are not responsible or liable for anything that happens because you use the site, including but not limited to: anything members post, send or do, on or off the site; injuries, accidents, illness or death, including from using the site while driving or walking; anything that happens at meetups, collides or events; any harm, loss or damage from Marketplace deals or other dealings between members; wrong or missing locations, maps or alerts; photos or messages that other people save, share or screenshot; lost data, account problems, outages, hacking or security breaches; third-party services and websites linked from the site, such as YouTube, Google, Cloudflare or map providers; or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or lost profits, even if we were told they might happen. If we're found liable anyway, our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is less.

Some places don't allow some of these limits, so some may not apply to you. In that case, our responsibility is limited as much as the law in your area allows.

11. You agree to protect us

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless We-Collided and its owner from any claims, damages, losses and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that come from your content, your use of the site, your dealings with other members, or your breaking these Terms or the law.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using We-Collided at any time. We can suspend or end any account, remove any content, or change or shut down any part of the site at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

13. Ads and third parties

The site may show ads or sponsored posts. We're not responsible for advertisers' products, services or websites.

14. Copyright complaints

We respect copyrights and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe something on We-Collided infringes your copyright, send our designated copyright agent a notice at wecollidedsocial@gmail.com (subject: "DMCA Notice") that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) a description of the copyrighted work; (3) where the material is on the site (a link or clear description); (4) your name, address, phone number and email; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or you have permission, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, a description of the removed content and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your name, address and phone number with consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your area (or the Eastern District of Kentucky if you're outside the U.S.). We ban members who repeatedly infringe copyrights. Sending false notices can make you liable for damages.

15. Accessibility

We want We-Collided to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, and we're working to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Features like Granny view and Pause effects are part of that. If something on the site is hard for you to use, email wecollidedsocial@gmail.com with the subject "Accessibility" and we'll work to fix it or help you another way.

16. Disputes and arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.

Talk to us first. If you have a problem with We-Collided, email wecollidedsocial@gmail.com with your name, account email and what you want us to do. We'll try to resolve it within 30 days. Neither side may start arbitration or a lawsuit until that 30 days has passed.

Binding individual arbitration. If we can't resolve it, you and We-Collided agree that any dispute, claim or controversy about the site or these Terms (including whether this arbitration agreement applies) will be settled by final and binding arbitration with one arbitrator, run by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Arbitration can be done by video, phone or written submissions, or in person in Kentucky or the county where you live. Each side pays its own lawyers unless the law or the AAA rules say otherwise. Either side may instead bring an individual case in small claims court if it qualifies, and either side may go to court to stop someone from infringing copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property or from hacking or misusing the site.

No class actions and no jury. You and We-Collided may only bring claims on your own behalf, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, group, collective or representative action, and the arbitrator can't combine more than one person's claims. You and We-Collided both give up the right to a jury trial. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim (and only that claim) will be decided by a court, not an arbitrator.

You can opt out. You can choose not to be bound by this arbitration agreement by emailing wecollidedsocial@gmail.com within 30 days after you first agree to these Terms, with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your name and account email. Opting out doesn't affect any other part of these Terms.

Time limit. Any claim about the site must be filed within one (1) year after it arose, or it's permanently barred.

Kentucky law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For anything that goes to court and not arbitration, you and We-Collided agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Kentucky.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make big changes, we'll ask you to agree again before you keep using the site. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current Terms.

18. General

Electronic notices. You agree that we can send you notices, including changes to these Terms, by email to your account address or on the site, and that these count as written notice.

Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them for any purpose without paying you or owing you anything.

Inactive accounts. We may delete accounts that haven't been used for 2 years or more.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and We-Collided. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part is limited as little as needed and the rest stays in full effect. If we don't enforce a part of these Terms right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. You can't transfer your account or these Terms to anyone else; we may transfer them, for example if the site is sold. The sections about content, safety, risk, warranties, liability, protecting us and disputes keep applying even after your account ends.
